SSP has developed an innovative sludge management system for bio-solids produced in biological wastewater treatment plants.
The process uses the calorific value of sludge to generate hot air for drying and reusing dried sludge as fuel.
The sludge weight is reduced by 90% and gets converted to inert solids that can be used as construction material. Other emissions are well within Indian & European Pollution norms. The plant is very compact with extremely low maintenance required.
