POME or Palm Oil Mill Effluent is a thick brownish viscous liquid waste, slurry, high in colloidal suspension and has an unpleasant odour.

SSP has developed a solution where we are able to treat the two types of Palm oil mill waste; Direct POME and Fermented POME. The basic concept is to reduce the moisture from the waste as POME is largely made of water.

The final output is a dry free flowing powder with around 6-8% moisture which is rich in protein and can be used as animal feed. Being in a powder state, it's shelf life becomes significantly higher.
